The AHRI 2019 Leadership Forum group rate for a standard deluxe guest room is $185 per room, per night, plus state and local taxes. Suites are also available on a first-come, first-served basis. Please refer to the link below for more information. The resort fee is included in the room rate and will cover several amenities, including: long-distance phone access, unlimited local calls, internal hotel shuttle transportation, unlimited use of the health club, beach towels and chairs, daily guest activities, in-room coffee and tea, 2 bottles of water in-room on arrival (not replenished), daily local English newspaper, use of in-room safe, and unlimited driving range golf balls. Please contact the resort directly for taxi needs, restaurant options, private driver, and car rental companies.

The AHRI group rate will be in effect November 4-16, 2019, based on availability. All guestroom rates are subject to and do not include the following: 11% government tax, $2.50 housekeeping gratuity per room per night, plus 11.5% tax, and a $7.00 one-time porterage fee per person, plus 11.5% tax.

Reservation Deadline

Thursday, October 17, 2019, is the guest room reservation cutoff date. After October 17, reservations may be made only on a space- and rate- available basis.

We strongly encourage you to book your hotel room early as our group block may sell out prior to the cutoff date.

Cancellation Policy

Hotel guests may cancel their guest room reservation up to three (3) days prior to their scheduled arrival date. Cancellation or changes to reservations within three (3) days prior to the scheduled arrival date will result in a cancellation fee equal to one night’s room and tax.

Check In/Check Out

Check-in is 4:00 PM. Check out is 11:00 AM.

TRANSPORTATION

The Luis Munoz Marin International Airport (SJU) is the closest airport to the resort and requires a drive time of 40 minutes. Ride sharing apps (Uber and Lyft) aren’t available from the airport to the resort but are available from the resort to the airport. Taxi cabs are available at the airport and typically cost around $70 - $90.

GSI Puerto Rico

GSI Puerto Rico is the recommended private transportation company of the Wyndham Grand Rio Mar Beach Resort & Spa. Meeting attendees may contact GSI at (787)-888-6000 ext. 6318 to schedule pick-up two days prior to arrival. The shuttle service will cost $44 per person, with a minimum of two people per booking.
