2017 AHRI National Advocacy Conference
Date: March 21 22, 2017
Location: Liaison Capitol Hill
The
2017 AHRI National Advocacy Conference is the HVACR and water heating
industry’s annual opportunity to communicate to key policy makers the positive impact
of our industry on American jobs, comfort, and productivity. This two-day event offers AHRI members a
unique opportunity to interact with lawmakers and staff on Capitol Hill, as
well as with key officials in federal agencies.
Advocating
for your company’s interests and building relationships with your elected
officials are crucial components of any successful government relations
strategy. Lawmakers need to hear your concerns and positions when deliberating on
important policy decisions that impact your business and the industry as a
whole. At the conference, you will:
· Establish and
strengthen working relationships with your elected officials and members
of their staff;
· Share your company’s concerns
and ideas with key decision makers in the federal government;
·
Gain valuable insights into
the workings of the new Congress and the Trump Administration;
·
Hear from experts and
newsmakers on best practices for communicating with government officials; and
·
Network with elected
officials and staff as well as other industry professionals at an
industry-sponsored Congressional reception on Capitol Hill.
This is an interactive event at which you will learn strategies for communicating industry positions to elected officials, while also hearing directly from policy makers in Congress and key federal agencies on how to most effectively shape your message.
