AHRI Rees Scholarship Foundation 5K Fun Run/Walk (6:00 AM - 7:00 AM)

Join your colleagues, AHRI staff, fellow runners and walkers for the third annual AHRI Fun Run/Walk to benefit the Rees Scholarship Foundation. Enjoy Bonita Springs while getting in your daily exercise by running or walking at any pace that allows you to keep smiling and enjoy the sunrise while finishing with a sense of accomplishment! The $70 participation fee includes a $20 donation to the Foundation. Each participant will receive a receipt of contribution for tax purposes. The fee includes a water station at the midway point; water, juice, Gatorade, tea, coffee, and fruit; and an AHRI 5K Fun Run t-shirt. Simply select the "AHRI Rees Scholarship Foundation 5K Fun Run/Walk" session when you register, and list your t-shirt size in the “Registration Questions” section of the Event Registration.



AHRI Golf Tournament #1 (12:00 PM - 5:00 PM)

18-hole shotgun start on the Raptor Bay Golf Course, the first resort course in the U.S. to receive Audubon International’s Gold Certification. Tournament will be scored using the Modified Stableford competition system.

Cost is $175 per person. The fee includes green fees, cart fees, taxes, gratuities, shotgun time start, range balls day of play, customized scorecards, bag handling at Golf Club, professional scoring sheet summary, transportation from hotel to Golf Club and back, bag transfers, and box lunches. Golf commitment may be cancelled without financial obligation until October 30, 2015. After October 30, the fee will not be refunded. Player substitutions may be made by emailing cgutermuth@ahrinet.org.

Personal golf clubs may be left with the bell staff at the front drive of the resort when you arrive and will be transported to the Golf Club for your convenience. Please let the hotel staff know which day you will be playing golf so they can ensure your clubs are delivered properly.

Because we will use the Modified Stableford scoring system, it is important that you include your handicap on the registration form, along with your foursome request. Please include this information in the “Registration Questions” section of the Event Registration.

Rental clubs for men and women are available at the Golf Club for $65 per day per set. Please indicate in the space provided for your foursome request if you wish to rent right- or left-handed clubs. Raptor Bay requires a Rental Club Form to be filled out upon your arrival. This will allow the golf club to charge you for your individual club rental.

Dress code: Collared shirt, long pants or walking shorts. Denim is not allowed. Metal spikes are not allowed.


TOUR #1: Guided Kayaking Excursion (12:30 PM - 3:00 PM)

Experience the local knowledge of the guides as they explain the Florida vegetation, wildlife, and real estate in the surrounding area. Travel through the mangrove islands that are inhabited by an abundance of wildlife, including dolphins, ospreys, egrets, and bald eagles. Kayakers of all levels are encouraged to participate.

Cost is $150 per personMinimum 6 guests required, 30 maximum. Gratuities and bottled water included. 

This tour will depart from the Hyatt marina.

In regards to all tours, a reservation fee must be submitted with the registration fee. In the event the minimum is not reached, members will be given the option of joining another tour on a space-available basis, and their original tour fee will be applied. Otherwise, they will receive a full refund.



TOUR #2: Backwater Fishing Excursion (12:30 PM - 5:00 PM)

Enjoy a spectacular view of tropical mangrove islands, a variety of bird species, and other exotic animals and plants as you make your way to your captain’s favorite fishing holes. Reel in the catch of the day such as mangrove snapper, sheepshead, redfish, snook, tripletail, jack, sea trout, tarpon, catfish, and many more! These are 4-passenger vessels that vary in length from 20’ to 40’. License, bait, tackle, insurance, and USCG safety equipment are included.

Suggested attire: Casual, comfortable clothing, closed-toed shoes or sneakers, sunglasses, visors or hats.

Cost is $200.00 per person. Minimum 4 guests required, 12 Maximum.

This tour will depart from Hyatt marina.


AHRI Cardio Tennis, Clinic, and Social (1:00 PM - 4:00 PM)

Join AHRI members and guests for an instructional tennis clinic and social! Guests will be guided through a clinic and cardio tennis, and have a chance to mix and mingle with fellow Annual Meeting attendees. This is a great opportunity to brush up on your skills or, if you are a beginner, get playing tips from a pro!

This is not just for avid tennis players, so all experience levels are encouraged to participate. Come out and join your colleagues and guests for some fun!

Cost is $100 per person. Price includes court fees, USPTA professional instruction, and tennis balls. Water, soft drinks, beer, and wine will be provided. Your reservation may be cancelled with a full refund until October 30. After October 30, the fee will not be refunded. Please list your rating (3.0, 3.5, etc.) or indicate that you are a beginner in the "Registration Questions" section of the Event Registration.

Racquet rentals are available at the Club's Pro Shop for $5.00 per racquet, per day.

Dress Code: Men must wear a collared shirt; ladies must wear appropriate and traditional tennis attire. All tennis players must wear proper tennis shoes. The herringbone pattern sole is recommended. T-shirts and running shoes or cross trainers are not permitted.



AHRI Golf Tournament #2 (12:00 PM - 5:00 PM)

TOUR #3: Guided Wave RunnerĀ® Excursion (12:15 PM - 3:30 PM)


Guests will be transported first to an off-site marina where experienced guides will take you on an unforgettable jet ski adventure through the Gulf of Mexico and Estero waterways. This is a great way to experience Southwest Florida and the mangrove islands, where there are often up-close experiences with playful dolphins, manatees, and an abundance of birds.

Suggested attire: T-shirt, shorts, sandals/flip flops/water shoes, sunglasses, and hat. Guests may wear bathing suits. Sunscreen recommended.

Cost is $200 per personMinimum 4 guests required, 40 maximum. Gratuities and bottled water included. 

Tour will depart from the Hyatt lobby.



TOUR #4: Eco-Tour & Shelling Cruise (12:30 PM - 4:00 PM)

A very informative tour with a chance to see an abundance of wildlife in one of Southwest Florida
s most pristine estuary bays. Sightings often include dolphins, ospreys, egrets, and herons. Stop at Lovers Key State Park where you can bring a beach chair, towels, and sunscreen to relax on the beach and soak up some Florida sunshine, or you may comb the beach for a variety of seashells. Some frequently found shells include turkey wing, scallop, clam, angel wings, fighting conch, horn shells, and many other varieties.

Suggested attire: Casual, comfortable clothing, closed-toed shoes or sneakers, sunglasses, visors or hats. Guests may wear bathing suits. Sunscreen recommended.

Cost is $190 per person. Minimum 1 guest required, 49 maximum. Gratuities and bottled water are included.

AHRI Tennis Match Play/Round Robin/Social (1:00 PM - 4:00 PM)

Join your colleagues and other guests for a tennis match and round robin play followed by an afternoon social! A professional will organize and guide the matches. Winners will be recognized during the Incoming Chairman’s Luncheon and Sports Awards. This is a great opportunity to put the skills you learned at the clinic to the test!

Cost is $100 per person. Price includes court fees, USPTA professional instruction, and tennis balls. Water, soft drinks, beer, and wine will be provided. Your reservation may be cancelled with a full refund until October 30. After October 30, the fee will not be refunded. TOUR #5: The Collier Collection (1:00 PM - 4:00 PM)


This one-of-a-kind automobile collection, noted by The New York Times as one of the finest in the world, celebrates the single most important technological advance of the 20th century.

Guests will have the rare opportunity to tour this exclusive venue, hosting three separate galleries with over 100 automobiles displayed in a sleek, museum-style setting designed to show them at their best. Period graphics and knowledgeable docents complete the experience.

Cost is $97 per person. Minimum 15 guests required. Gratuities and bottled water are included.

Spouse Event: Floral Artistry Seminar (9:30 AM - 11:30 AM)

Have you always wanted to discover the hidden floral designer within yourself, learn more about creative floral designs, or do you simply just love flowers?  Here’s your chance to tap your creative side. This fun floral artistry experience is suitable for participants of all levels, from the beginner to the seasoned floral designer. Through a combination of demonstration and hands on experience, participants will learn to create a beautiful arrangement to enjoy in their resort guest room. Please join us and take the opportunity to meet and get to know other spouses attending the AHRI Annual Meeting.

Cost is $95 per personMinimum 25 guests required.
