AHRI Golf Tournament #1: Rattler & Roadrunner Course
(12:00 PM - 5:00 PM)
Starr Pass Country Club offers an unforgettable desert golf
experience. The Starr Pass legend began more than 120 years ago when Richard
Starr crafted a trail through the rugged Tucson Mountains. Today the legend
continues with 27 Arnold Palmer Championship-Designed holes that meander
through the mountain and arroyos of Tucson. The Rattler course begins with stunning views of Tucson and
the surrounding mountain ranges. With distances ranging from 2,669 to 3,490
yards, precise placement is the key. You will be hitting over natural arroyos
while enjoying the scenic beauty of true desert golf. The Roadrunner course, with the most dramatic elevation
changes and swirling winds created by the Tucson Mountains, will be a true test
for all experience levels. Offering great views from the surrounding resort,
with distances ranging from 2,370 yards to 3,241 yards. Tournament
will be scored using the Modified Stableford scoring system. Please arrive
30 minutes before your designated tee time at the Hotel Front Drive. Tee times
and foursome pairings will be provided to you prior to the Leadership Forum. Cost is $190 per person. The
fee includes green fees, cart fees, professional management of tournament,

Spouse Event: Full Circle
(9:30 AM - 11:30 AM)
Join
fellow AHRI spouses in an unforgettable session that will teach you the
importance of the hoop and dream catcher to the Native American people. Throughout
the first nations of the northern continent, the circle of life represents a
simple life. All things are connected. The world goes in a constant cycle, from
spring into summer and summer into fall, always evolving and yet staying the
same. Too often in life we forget about the simple things in life and get tied
up in the complexities of day-to-day living. By
working with the hoop and being guided by Brian Hammill, 2009 World Champion
Hoop Dancer and enrolled member of the HoChunk Nation, participants will see
how the hoop represents their journey. Each person will have an opportunity to
build their own hoop and reflect in a positive way. Attendees
will be given the opportunity to make multiple hoop formations representing the
intricate formations of life. During the process of creating the hoop, there
will be time for self-reflection and to place private written goals inside the
hoop. Next, attendees will weave a 10” dream catcher. The story
of the hoop revolves around the five principles of self, family, work,
friendship, and hobbies or beliefs. The session will close with a guided
exercise through the five hoops representing these principles. Cost is $90 per person. Minimum 20
guests required.
